Vintage Base Ball Game

July 21, 2012 — A vintage base ball game, circa 1865, was held on the Parade Grounds of Fort Vancouver between the Union Army station at the Fort and the Vancouver Occidentals.

Played under the original 1865 rules; players were dressed in authentic appareal for the game. In the end, the Union Army claimed victory over the Occidentals with a final score of 11 to 10.
