Structure Fire
3100 Columbia St

December 9, 2009 — Vancouver Fire Department responded to a structure fire at 3100 Columbia Street. The structure, in a residential area, had recently been remodeled and re-opened as a neighborhood cafe. No injuries were reported. The Fire Marshall's report indicated the cause of the fire was improper insulation behind a recently added fireplace; which caused the insulation in the wall to ignite.
