May 6, 2000 — Squad 51 and Randy Mantooth aka FF/PM John Gage visited the Chicago Fire Department Academy as part of the Project 51 tour.

The fully restored Dodge Rescue Squad was traveling from Los Angeles to Washington DC to be inducted into the Smithsonian.
